Pelvic Floor Performance Physical Therapist

Before You Apply... Ask Yourself This:

Before you rush to apply for our part/full-time pelvic floor performance physical therapist position at Spark Physical Therapy, take a moment and ask yourself:

  • Do you want to work in a fun, energizing environment where your work is truly valued?
  • Are you a driven and motivated physical therapist stuck in a clinic that doesn’t inspire you?
  • Are you great at building trust and delivering personalized care that keeps patients coming back?
  • Do you take initiative, care deeply about your work, and strive to be the best at what you do?
  • Do you want to grow in your career, have fun doing it, and help people live stronger, more active lives?
  • Do you want to be part of something different in healthcare…something that actually makes a difference?

If you found yourself saying “yes” to any of those questions... Spark might be exactly what you’ve been looking for.

About Spark Physical Therapy – Who We Are

Spark Physical Therapy was built to be different. We specialize in helping active adults and athletes in the Fairlawn and Akron area overcome pain, move better, rebuild strength, and get back to the things they love.

Our patients are active adults, runners, golfers, gym-goers, athletes, and weekend warriors. They don’t want to stop moving…they want to move better. Once we help them get out of pain, we guide them through performance rehab and strength-based care to help them stay strong, stay pain-free, and hit their goals for the long haul.

We’re an out-of-network clinic, which means we’re not restricted by insurance. We can focus on delivering high-quality, personalized care that actually gets results. Our goal isn’t just short-term relief…it’s long-term transformation. We don’t see ourselves as physical therapists but as performance specialists who are guiding our patients throughout each health journey.

What Makes This Position Special?

You’ll get to...

  • See a sustainable caseload of 6–8 patients per day.
  • Focus on your patient – work 1-on-1 with motivated patients for full 60-minute sessions.
  • Serve a community of active adults and athletes who care about their health and performance.
  • Treat patients across the full spectrum. Proactive and preventative care, rehab, strength training, and return to sport.
  • Be part of a positive, growth-oriented team who encourages one another to become the best version of themselves.
  • Grow within the company and have a voice in shaping its future.
  • Wear comfortable, professional athleisure every day.
  • Use AI-powered voice-to-chart EMR tools to minimize documentation time so you can focus more on patient care.
  • Have access to weekly mentorship and clinical development, no matter your experience level.
  • Look forward to coming to work every day.
  • Most importantly... you get to use your talents and passion (you know, the thing that made you want to become a physical therapist to begin with) to make a REAL difference in people's lives.

Who We Help:

  • Active adults & athletes recovering from orthopedic injuries and aiming to return stronger.
  • Busy professionals & parents who want to stay active without sacrificing time or function.
  • Runners & Gym-Goers dealing with recurring injuries or pain that’s limiting their progress.
  • Golfers looking to increase mobility and strength to improve performance on the course.
  • People who are tired of being told to “just rest” or stop doing what they love.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored, compassionate care focused on getting patients back to the activities they love.
  • Empower active adults and athletes to continue their passions without the need for invasive treatments or “just rest” mind-set.
  • Utilize our 3-Step Process: Find the real cause of pain, fix the root cause, and build a resilient body.

Who Should Apply

  • A physical therapist who’s passionate about helping people move and feel their best…not just checking boxes.
  • Someone who wants to blend performance physical therapy, injury prevention, and strength-based rehab to create lasting results.
  • Someone who’s eager to learn, grow, and be mentored.
  • Someone who’s excited to join a young, innovative company and grow with it.
