Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist

Overview

Dynamic Physical Therapy is a physical therapist owned clinic in the heart of River North, and we’re looking for a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist who wants to actually treat the way they were trained to. No double-booking, no productivity quotas, no churn. Just you and your patient, one hour at a time.

Why therapists love working here

You’ll spend a full 60 minutes one-on-one with every patient in a beautiful, private treatment room, never a curtain or a crowded gym floor. Our space feels more like a boutique wellness studio than a medical office, with a clean, well-equipped gym and a calm, welcoming atmosphere. We serve River North’s young, active population, so alongside your pelvic floor caseload you’ll see a healthy mix of orthopedic and active younger patients, keeping your skills broad and your days varied.

Because we’re PT-owned, clinical decisions are made by clinicians. You’ll have real autonomy over your plan of care and the time to build genuine relationships with your patients.

What we offer

  • Earning potential of $85,000–$105,000, with quarterly and annual bonuses that grow your pay as the practice grows
  • 401(k)
  • Health insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Continuing education budget
  • A manageable caseload with no productivity quotas, so quality of care always comes before volume
  • Schedule control with input into your hours and caseload mix
  • A clear growth path, with room to develop a pelvic health program, expand your specialty training, and help shape the direction of the practice
  • Flexible schedule
  • No weekends (two evening shifts per week required)
  • A supportive, collegial team and a workplace you’ll actually look forward to walking into
  • Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with pelvic floor disorders, utilizing your deep understanding of anatomy and physiology.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and other manual therapies.
  • Educate patients on pelvic health, exercise routines, and lifestyle modifications to promote long-term wellness.
  • Coordinate discharge planning and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions across care settings.
  • Manage patient progress through detailed documentation within electronic medical record (EMR) systems and adjust care plans accordingly

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to pelvic health and musculoskeletal systems.
  • Proven experience in discharge planning, acute care environments, and developing effective care plans.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems for accurate documentation of patient care activities.
  • Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and empathetically.
  • Experience working in inpatient hospital settings as well as outpatient clinics or home & community care programs.
  • Knowledge of trigger point therapy techniques and orthopedic rehabilitation strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes across diverse populations including pediatrics and geriatrics. Join us in making a meaningful difference by empowering patients through expert pelvic floor physiotherapy!

What we’re looking for

  • Licensed (or license-eligible) Physical Therapist in Illinois
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience
  • Completion of at least the first-level APTA or Herman & Wallace pelvic health course
  • Comfort treating a mixed caseload of pelvic floor, orthopedic, and younger active patients
  • A patient-centered, hands-on approach and a desire to grow within a 1:1 model

If you’re a pelvic floor PT who’s tired of high-volume settings and wants to do your best work in a beautiful, supportive, clinician-led environment, we’d love to meet you.
