Could you be our next People & Culture Advisor?
The People & Culture Advisor supports the People & Culture Manager in delivering HR services that enable business success and a positive employee experience. This role provides expert HR guidance, advice, and operational support across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and engagement. By partnering with leaders and teams, the Advisor helps foster a productive, inclusive, and engaged workforce while contributing to strategic HR initiatives and the successful implementation of global People & Culture frameworks at the local level.
What can you expect day to day?
HR Advisory & Employee Relations
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters, workplace issues, and conflict resolution.
- Assist in implementing performance management processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Support a culture of continuous feedback, development, and employee engagement.
- Partner with external advisors and payroll providers to ensure compliance with local employment laws and requirements.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Lead and coordinate employee engagement initiatives, including administering surveys, analysing results, and supporting leaders to communicate outcomes.
- Ensure that agreed follow-up actions are embedded and tracked to drive continuous improvement in engagement and culture.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and values-driven workplace culture aligned with Hewitt Foods’ purpose and behaviours.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Assist with recruitment activities, including job descriptions, candidate shortlisting, and interview coordination.
- Support onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition and integration of new employees.
- Partner with leaders to support the integration and onboarding of newly acquired teams, ensuring alignment with Hewitt Foods’ culture and HR practices.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain accurate HR records and employee data in HRIS systems.
- Ensure compliance with local employment legislation, internal policies, and relevant reporting requirements.
- Support payroll coordination, benefits administration, and HR reporting as required.
- Liaise with external advisors and partners to stay current on compliance obligations and best practices.
Learning & Development
- Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating learning and development programs.
- Support leadership development initiatives and succession planning activities.
- Promote alignment and execution of global learning, performance, reward, and safety processes within the USA team.
Health, Safety & Wellbeing
- Support employee wellbeing initiatives and contribute to workplace health and safety programs.
- Ensure awareness and compliance with relevant health and safety legislation.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, with experience in an HR operational or generalist role.
- Knowledge of employee relations, performance management, HR compliance, payroll, and recruitment processes.
- Experience supporting workforce planning, organisational change, and HR initiatives, including culture and engagement programs.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and reporting.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively across teams and geographies.
- High attention to detail, ethical standards, confidentiality, and adaptability in a dynamic and growing business environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
