People & Operations Coordinator (Remote)

However, the individual hired for People & Operations Coordinator must live within the Pittsburgh region.

TRiNDS is seeking a full-time People & Operations Coordinator. The People & Operations Coordinator will work under the direction and guidance of the TRiNDS Operations Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support and execute creative initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive company culture, including planning and organizing team engagement activities.
  • Organize and prepare meeting schedules and travel related to company-wide meetings, conferences, annual retreat, Board of Directors annual meeting, and Directors’ meetings and support team members with associated expense reimbursements.
  • Track office policies (i.e., employee handbook), staff training, and procedures.
  • Process personnel documentation and support human resources activities while maintaining strict confidentiality of all employees’ and contractors’ information.
  • Assist with the payroll process.
  • Facilitate hiring procedures, including but not limited to posting new positions, scheduling interviews, performing background checks.
  • Support onboarding activities to ensure human resources strategies align with TRiNDS business goals.
  • Actively participate in office management ensuring the timely completion of day-t0-day administrative tasks for the various TRiNDS solutions.
  • Generate, review, and distribute reports for day-to-day operations
  • Assist with Executives’ calendar management
  • Other responsibilities as business needs require.

Qualification Requirements:

  • High school diploma or bachelor’s degree (preferred).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in the field of accounting and human resource management.
  • Diligent and adaptable, with the ability to succeed in a dynamic, growth-oriented remote work setting.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience as administrative assistant or virtual assistant.

This position is primarily remote/work from home, however the selected candidate will reside in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. Some travel may be required for training and the annual company retreat.
