Amenity Construction Group is looking for a People Operations Manager to join our growing team! With over 40 years of expertise in aquatic and specialty outdoor construction, we at Amenity Construction Group provide single-source solutions through design, consulting, and building for pool construction and renovation, hardscapes, softscapes, and outdoor living & entertainment. Our portfolio includes Pearl Pools, Resurrection Pools, and Jim Hinson Pools—each specializing in distinct yet complementary services that seamlessly serve commercial and residential clients across the East Coast and parts of the Southwest.

As People Operations Manager, you will play a key role in supporting this mission by building strong relationships with leaders and employees while driving key people strategies that support business goals. This role combines strategic consulting with day-to-day HR support, fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture where employees can do their best work. The People Operations Manager will provide coaching, guidance, and operational support across a variety of HR disciplines, helping teams thrive and grow. In this high-impact role, you will partner closely with leadership, integration teams, and the broader HR function to lead the strategic and operational people agenda through the post-acquisition phase and beyond. You will play a critical role in aligning talent strategy with business goals, driving cultural integration, and supporting organizational design and workforce planning initiatives.


The People Operations Manager for Amenity Construction Group reports into the Sr Director of Human Resources for The Amenity Collective. The Amenity Collective, parent company to Amenity Construction Group, is North America’s largest provider of aquatics, fitness, and recreation solutions,


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build trusted, meaningful relationships with employees, managers, and leaders at all levels of the organization.
  • Serve as a key resource for employees, providing timely and accurate information related to PTO, benefits, policies, and HR programs.
  • Partner with operations on active frontline recruitment initiatives, including but not limited to managing job postings, optimizing Applicant Tracking System, and screening resumes and interview candidates.
  • Champion a best-in-class onboarding experience that sets employees up for success; create a welcoming first impression, facilitate meaningful connections, ensure timely completion of documentation, and continuously enhance the process based on feedback.
  • Conduct fair, thorough, and confidential investigations to resolve employee relations matters thoughtfully and consistently.
  • Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Lead and manage the employee offboarding process, ensuring a smooth, compliant, and respectful transition; conduct exit interviews, gather insights, and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organization's human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system.
  • Monitors and ensures the organization's compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Identify and support learning, development, and engagement opportunities that help our people grow and thrive.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance management, employee relations, career development, and policy interpretation.
  • Facilitate change management initiatives to support employee engagement and retention.
  • Champion a culture of inclusion, collaboration, continuous feedback, and high performance.
  • Roll up your sleeves and jump into other HR projects and initiatives as needed — we’re a team that gets things done together!


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • Experience in the construction or related industry is preferred.
  • Experience with driver (DOT / CDL) compliance is preferred. Experience managing driver compliance programs is required.
  • Direct experience with frontline recruitment initiatives and daily operations.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, organizational development, and employment law.
  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable using HR data to drive insights and action.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems. Experience with Workday HRIS is preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field preferred; HR certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) a plus.

COMPENSATION

The People Operations Manager position offers a base salary of $70,000 - $100,000 per annum based upon experience, brand, and location. The position is also eligible for an annual bonus.


LOCATION

This is a hybrid position with 3 days per week required in office. We are open to candidates available to work a hybrid work schedule at any of the following Amenity Construction Group office locations: Raleigh NC, Orlando FL, Port Charlotte FL.
