Senior PeopleSoft Technical Business Analyst (Remote | Contract)

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Technical Business Analyst to support a large-scale enterprise environment within the financial services industry. This is a 100% remote, 2-year contract opportunity focused on maintaining and enhancing an existing PeopleSoft system during a transition to Oracle Fusion Cloud.

Overview

In this role, you will act as a key liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring the stability and performance of the current PeopleSoft environment while the organization undergoes a major ERP transformation. You will have significant ownership in supporting end users, resolving system issues, and driving functional improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the existing PeopleSoft system
• Work closely with business stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and gather requirements
• Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications
• Create user stories and manage backlog items for development teams
• Support enhancements and system improvements without direct coding responsibilities
• Focus heavily on the Billing module (~60%), including month-end processes
• Collaborate with developers and other analysts in a distributed team environment

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience working with PeopleSoft (Techno-functional or Technical BA background)
• Strong expertise in FSCM and HCM modules
• Hands-on experience with:
• Billing (including month-end activities)
• Contracts
• Transactional Pricing (Pricer)
• At least 5 years in a Business Analyst or Techno-functional role
• Experience with PeopleTools
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with eBill, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Prior experience supporting ERP migrations (e.g., PeopleSoft to Oracle Fusion)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: Up to $75.00 per hour
