Per Diem and Permanent Home Health PT Needed in Detroit, MI Region

Michigan, United States

This opportunity is with a well-established home care center that has been in service for 15 years, committed to providing high-quality patient care with a focus on flexibility and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy services in a home care setting.

  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team, and actively participate in case conferencing.
  • Manage your own schedule efficiently, clustering patients geographically to minimize travel time.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Insert specific number, e.g., 1-2 years of clinical experience, with preference for experience in a home care setting. New graduates are not preferred due to the independent nature of the role.
  • Proficiency in basic rehab techniques, disease management, orthopedic conditions, and post-surgical care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and a commitment to high standards in documentation and patient care.
  • Ability to work independently and make autonomous clinical judgments.

Benefits & Perks:

  • Flexibility: Therapists have the autonomy to set their own schedules and manage their caseloads, taking on as many or as few patients as desired.
  • Company Vehicle: A company car is available for use, eliminating the need for personal vehicle use and associated mileage/gas reimbursement.
  • Supportive Environment: Join a team that values high standards in patient care and professional conduct.
  • Growth Opportunities: Potential for future growth as the company expands its services.

Compensation:

  • Competitive per-visit rate of approximately $70 per visit for Physical Therapists.
