Percussion Coach
- Arrange, adapt, and/or transcribe music.
- Instruct, supervise, and ensure the safety of students during rehearsals and performances.
- Attend and oversee performances and events in accordance with school and district guidelines.
- Assist in planning and leading rehearsals.
- Support recruitment efforts and promote participation in the program.
- Organize and conduct auditions or tryouts.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Contribute to creating an engaging and spirited atmosphere at school events.
- Maintain professionalism while enforcing team policies and procedures aligned with school and district expectations.
- Model and promote inclusive, non-discriminatory practices in all activities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills, especially in time-sensitive situations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Valid Arizona certification recognized by the Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA).
- Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card.
- Combination of relevant experience, training, and/or education as approved by the Superintendent and Human Resources.
