About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled Performance Analyst with a strong specialism in data visualisation to join our high-performing Performance & Insights team. This role is pivotal in driving practical insights from data and supporting evidence-based decision-making at the highest level.

You will play a key role in:

• Developing data visualisation products that make complex information accessible and highlight trends across datasets.
• Surfacing insights to enable data-driven decisions by senior leadership.
• Influencing and supporting data management and strategy to ensure a single version of the truth.

Our team has already strengthened reporting on finance and workforce, and now we're expanding our focus to strategic priorities and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver reporting and visualisation solutions using Qlik Sense (primary) and Power BI.
• Apply data engineering and governance expertise to improve data quality and shape departmental data models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate datasets, develop KPIs, and provide practical insights.
• Create tools and analysis that enhance transparency and inform better decision-making.
• Identify trends and insights to support strategic priorities.
• Lead on upskilling team members in insight development, data management, and visualisation.

Essential Skills & Experience

• DV Clearance (mandatory).
• Significant experience with Qlik Sense and Power BI for dashboards and visualisations.
• Proven ability to develop insights for diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and cloud platforms (AWS & Azure).
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
