Performance Consultant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Performance Consultant to join our team and drive impactful learning and development initiatives across the organization. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs that enhance employee skills, optimize performance, and support organizational goals. Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging curriculum content utilizing instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) to create effective learning experiences for diverse audiences.
  • Design and deliver impactful training sessions both in classroom settings and through virtual platforms, ensuring clarity and engagement with strong public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Manage the entire training lifecycle including needs assessment, program design, content development, delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
  • Utilize learning management systems (LMS), Workday, SharePoint, and other learning technology tools to track learner progress, manage content repositories, and generate performance data for analysis.
  • Collaborate with HR teams on talent management initiatives such as succession planning, employee orientation programs, performance management processes, and human capital management strategies.
  • Conduct research on best practices in adult education and training delivery to keep programs current and effective.
  • Facilitate change management initiatives by communicating effectively across teams and providing mentoring to managers on employee development strategies.
  • Support HR sourcing efforts by developing onboarding content for new hires and assisting with employee evaluation processes.
  • Collect data on training outcomes through surveys and assessments to measure program effectiveness and inform future initiatives.

Experience

  • Proven experience in instructional design with a strong understanding of adult education principles and curriculum development techniques.
  • Hands-on classroom experience combined with expertise in digital learning tools such as Adobe Captivate, LMS platforms, SharePoint, Salesforce, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Workday, and other HR technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging training sessions using public speaking skills and effective presentation techniques.
  • Background in program management including designing learning programs aligned with organizational objectives such as succession planning or talent management initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments including human resources management, employee relations, change management teams, and leadership.
  • Experience in data collection methods for training evaluation along with research skills to stay updated on industry best practices in training & development.
  • Knowledge of conflict management strategies to handle sensitive situations during training or coaching sessions.
  • Familiarity with technical writing for creating clear instructional materials or process documentation. Pay: $67,811.02 - $81,664.88 per year
