About the Role

We’re looking for a Creative Strategist (Contractor) to drive the creative vision behind paid and cross-channel campaigns across multiple client accounts.

This role sits at the intersection of creative, performance, and strategy. You’ll be responsible for developing, concepting, and guiding high-performing creative from initial idea through execution — balancing strong creative instincts with a data-driven mindset.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, is comfortable managing multiple brands, and has a proven ability to develop concepts that drive performance across paid social platforms.

You’ll collaborate closely with Paid Media, Creative, Social, and Account teams to bring ideas to life while maintaining each client’s unique voice and business goals.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute creative strategies for paid social campaigns across client accounts
  • Concept hooks, angles, messaging frameworks, and campaign ideas aligned with performance goals
  • Partner with Paid Social team to plan experiments, analyze performance, and optimize creative direction
  • Build and manage creative testing roadmaps, including hypotheses, variations, and iteration plans
  • Lead end-to-end creative workflows: concepting, briefing designers/editors/creators, and reviewing final outputs
  • Translate performance data (CTR, CPA, ROAS, engagement metrics) into clear, actionable creative insights
  • Conduct audience and persona research to unlock new targeting and messaging opportunities
  • Identify and integrate UGC, trends, and platform-native formats across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of diverse, performance-driven creative aligned with platform best practices
  • Contribute to client-facing presentations, strategy recommendations, and creative rationale
  • Stay ahead of platform changes, cultural trends, and emerging tools, including AI, to evolve creative output

What You’ll Bring

  • 4–5+ years of experience in creative strategy experience, alongside, paid social, or performance content (agency experience preferred)
  • Ecomm/DTC experience is a MUST
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing principles
  • Proven ability to turn data into clear creative direction and winning concepts
  • Experience across platforms like Meta, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and/or Pinterest
  • Strong grasp of creative formats, hooks, and storytelling techniques that drive conversion
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple clients and timelines
  • Experience briefing and collaborating with cross-functional creative teams
  • Curiosity and familiarity with AI tools and evolving creative workflows
  • Strong communication skills, both internal and client-facing
