Perfume Production Supervisor

Primary Purpose:

Leading and coordinating the activities of the production team, ensuring that production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols are met. This role requires a strong leader who can drive operational efficiency, implement process improvements, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Supervise daily production activities, ensuring that production goals, schedules, and quality standards are met.
  • Manage, train, and evaluate production staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their jobs efficiently and safely.
  • Monitor and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
  • Coordinate production workflows and collaborate with other departments (e.g., maintenance, quality control, inventory) to ensure smooth operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring that production targets are achieved.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, including safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
  • Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Prepare and maintain production reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics, and communicate results to management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and waste management strategies.
  • Ensure that production staff are motivated and engaged, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or technical certification in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field is a plus.


Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar leadership role in a manufacturing or production environment.
