Key Responsibilities

• Diagnosis and Treatment: Accurately diagnose and treat various forms of periodontal disease and conditions, including gingivitis, periodontitis, and gum recession.
• Surgical Procedures: Perform a full range of periodontal surgical and non-surgical procedures, such as scaling and rootplaning, crown lengthening, etc.,
• Patient Care: Develop comprehensive treatment plans, educate patients on their conditions and procedures, and ensure a comfortable and positive experience.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with general dentists and other specialists to provide integrated and holistic patient care.
• Documentation: Maintain meticulous and accurate patient records.
• Continuing Education: Stay current with the latest advancements in periodontology and dental technology.

Qualifications

• BDS, MDS, or equivalent degree from an accredited dental school.
• Certificate or Master’s degree in Periodontology from an accredited program.
• Valid state dental license and specialty license in Periodontology.
• Proficiency in a wide range of periodontal procedures and surgical techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A strong commitment to patient care and ethical practice.
• Experience with dental implants is highly desirable.
