Periodontist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Periodontist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in periodontics, with experience in various dental procedures and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. The Periodontist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating periodontal disease, performing surgical procedures, and collaborating with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient treatment.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to diagnose periodontal conditions.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with general dentists and specialists in prosthodontics, endodontics.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, infection control, and the importance of periodontal health.
• Utilize dental office software such as Dentrix Ascend for patient management and record keeping.
• Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques during all surgical procedures.
• Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques related to periodontics.
• Perform Laser Millenium or Fotona procedures.

Experience

• Proven experience in a dental clinic or office setting is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality patient care with a focus on comfort and safety.
