Location: Hybrid — remote and in-person, depending on the day's work Compensation: $50,000 – $150,000/year (negotiable based on experience; 1099 contractor) Reports to: Jacob Rogers, Founder & CEO Schedule: Full-time with flexible hours; some evenings and weekends as needed
About the role
Jacob Rogers — Founder & CEO of ALYZE, along with several other companies he owns and operates — is hiring a Personal Assistant to be his right hand across both business and personal life. The mission is simple: make Jacob faster, sharper, and harder to interrupt so he can focus on building ALYZE and his portfolio of companies.
This is a high-trust, high-variety role. You'll work directly with Jacob and alongside his executive team, attending meetings, drafting communications, tracking follow-ups, and keeping every plate spinning across multiple businesses. You'll also handle the personal side — household logistics, errands, deliveries, and the things at home Jacob can't always get to himself. If you want a front-row seat to how a founder builds and runs companies, this is it.
What you'll own
Keeping Jacob on task and moving forward
- Manage Jacob's calendars across all of his companies and his personal life — scheduling, rescheduling, resolving conflicts, and protecting his time
- Plan and coordinate events, dinners, travel, and appointments end to end
- Keep track of birthdays, anniversaries, key personal dates, and recurring obligations
- Triage inbound across Slack, email, ClickUp, and WhatsApp; surface what needs Jacob's attention and handle the rest
- Make sure every meeting has an agenda, a pre-read, and the right people invited
- Track every commitment Jacob makes and chase it down until it's closed
- Build a clear daily picture for Jacob: what matters today, what decisions are needed, and what's at risk
Working with the executive team
- Attend executive and leadership meetings across ALYZE and Jacob's other companies; capture decisions, action items, and risks
- Run the "meeting intelligence hub" — turn meeting transcripts and notes into shared summaries, decisions logs, and ClickUp tasks with clear owners and due dates
- Keep the leadership team aligned: route dependencies between teams, surface blockers, and make sure nothing is duplicated or dropped
- Represent Jacob in coordination conversations when he can't be there — clarify owners, document decisions, and bring outcomes back to him
Drafting and communications
- Write a high volume of emails on Jacob's behalf to investors, work associates, partners, vendors, executives, and the broader team
- Handle Slack messages, follow-ups, and scheduling correspondence so Jacob isn't buried in his inbox
- Use AI tools like ChatGPT to draft faster, then apply judgment so every message is accurate, professional, and ready to send
- Handle vendor and partner communications: scheduling, polite declines, requests for written proposals
- Build and maintain decision briefs so Jacob can decide quickly when his input is required
Personal and household support
- Run errands, deliveries, and pickups that Jacob can't get to during the day
- Coordinate home maintenance, repairs, deliveries, and vendor visits at Jacob's house
- Place orders, manage returns, and handle logistics for both work and home
- Pick up and drop off investors, partners, and guests
- Coordinate travel, appointments, reservations, and personal admin as needed
- Help keep Jacob's personal schedule organized — family commitments, social events, and standing appointments
What we're looking for
- Extreme reliability. If you say you'll handle it, it's handled. Jacob's trust in you is the whole job.
- Strong written communication. You can draft a clean, direct, professional email or message and you're comfortable writing a high volume of them every day.
- Sharp judgment. You know what's urgent vs. what can wait, what to handle yourself vs. what needs Jacob, and when to ask vs. when to act.
- Comfortable with both worlds. Equally comfortable in a Zoom with executives and dropping off a package across town.
- Operationally fluent. You know your way around ClickUp, Slack, Google Workspace, and AI tools like ChatGPT — or you'll learn them fast.
- Discretion. You'll have visibility into sensitive information across multiple companies and Jacob's personal life. That stays with you.
- Logistically ready. Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and able to be in person when the work calls for it.
- High agency. You bring solutions, not just problems. You close loops without being reminded.
- Bonus: prior experience as an executive assistant, personal assistant, chief of staff, or in early-stage operations.
What you'll get
- $50,000 – $150,000/year, negotiable based on experience (1099 contractor)
- Direct, daily exposure to a founder/CEO running multiple companies — including ALYZE
- A real look at how executive teams operate, how decisions get made, and how companies actually get built
- Genuine variety — no two days look the same
- Hybrid flexibility: remote when the work allows, in-person when it doesn't
Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
