Personal Assistant Caregiver

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation and personal hygiene.
• Provide home health support, ensuring a clean and safe living environment.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client health through patient observation.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy and confidentiality.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities, promoting social interaction and mental stimulation.
• Support clients in home community care settings, including group homes.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a tidy environment.
• Respond promptly to client needs and emergencies, utilizing CPR skills when necessary.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and dietary restrictions.
• Familiarity with home health practices and medication administration protocols.
• CPR certification is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
• Ability to perform light cleaning tasks as part of maintaining the client's living space.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others live fulfilling lives.
