Personal Assistant Caregiver

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Assistant Caregiver to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in need of assistance with daily activities. Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Assistance with self-administered medications.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
• Support patients with memory care needs related to Alzheimer's disease and dementia, ensuring a safe environment
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a hygienic environment
• Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a positive atmosphere for clients in home or community settings

Skills

• Proven experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care environments
• Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize changes in condition or behavior
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or Alzheimer's/dementia care is preferred
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting
• Ability to follow detailed care plans while demonstrating flexibility in dynamic Knowledge
