Personal Assistant Caregiver

Job Summary
All American Home Healthcare is looking for compassionate, dedicated Personal Care Aides to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential day-to-day support to clients in their homes, helping them live safely and independently. You'll be the heart of what we do — bringing dignity, warmth, and skilled care to each person we serve.

Duties

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe home environment
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and families
• Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervisors
• Assist with medication reminders per care plan guidelines
• Transport clients to appointments and errands as assigned
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided

Requirements

• Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes; experience with developmental disabilities or autism is highly valued
• Certification or training in first aid, CPR, and hospice or dementia care preferred
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams
• Compassionate attitude combined with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while following established care protocols
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends or overnight as needed

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
