Personal Assistant Caregiver

Duties

• Provide attentive care to children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and individuals with disabilities
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and hygiene activities
• Support early childhood development through engaging activities that promote learning and social skills
• Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive conduct and emotional regulation
• Create a safe, nurturing environment by monitoring activities and ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Support educational activities by teaching basic skills, facilitating play, and encouraging curiosity
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding daily progress and any concerns

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying roles
• Classroom experience or early childhood education background preferred
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques
• Certification in first aid and CPR required or willing to obtain upon hire
• Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus
• Experience in infant care or toddler care is highly valued
• Strong skills in teaching, caregiving, and creating engaging activities for children
