Function or Purpose of Position

Service to our members can include assisting members and potential members with solutions to their banking needs via in-person consultation, telephone conversation, e-mail, chat, or text.

Essential Job Functions or Tasks of Position

Maintains working knowledge of:

  • Credit Union products and services
  • Funds availability and account regulations
  • Basic lending knowledge of loan products
  • IRA and HSA account servicing
  • Compliance and regulatory expectations

Receives and processes member financial transactions in person, through the call queue, and via email including but not limited to:

  • Deposits
  • Withdrawals
  • Loan payments
  • Transfers
  • Account inquiries
  • Certificate of deposit, IRA, HSA, and other account maintenance requests
  • Maintains a high level of accuracy regarding all transactions conducted for members.
  • Ensures memberships are returned within 24 business hours and maintains acceptable call queue performance.
  • Assists members with opening and maintaining accounts while ensuring all documentation and compliance requirements are met.
  • Prepares, reviews, scans, and images all related paperwork for transactions processed.
  • Completes general processing and reporting duties as assigned by leadership.
  • Identifies opportunities to educate members about products and services that may benefit their financial needs.
  • Assists with operational support duties such as opening and closing procedures, scanning, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Participates in training sessions, team meetings, and professional development opportunities.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Provides accurate and efficient support for member transactions while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Assists members with opening and maintaining accounts, ensuring all required documentation and compliance standards are met, and prepares, reviews, scans, and images related paperwork. Maintains service standards by returning memberships within 24 business hours and supporting acceptable call queue performance. Researches and resolves member account issues, responds to member inquiries, and keeps leadership informed of concerns, operational issues, and service opportunities. Identifies opportunities to educate members on products and services that support their financial needs and assists with operational tasks such as opening and closing procedures, reporting, and other administrative duties. Actively participates in training and team meetings while supporting the Credit Union’s culture through teamwork, collaboration, and professional, courteous service. Performs additional duties as assigned.

Required Availability: 7:15 AM – 5:30 PM, 4 days/ week. Flexibility required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.90 - $22.02 per hour
