Personal Care Aid

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aid to join our team in Mount Clemens, MI. This role involves providing essential support and assistance to individuals who need help with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely.
• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse or manager.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care, home care, or a similar role is an advantage.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills IS A MUST.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass background checks.
• Valid driver’s license or State ID is required for this position.
• Own Reliable transportation is a plus.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
