  • Be the First to Respond: Quickly answer call lights and address residents’ needs with compassion and professionalism.
  • Encourage Mobility: Help residents with ambulation and provide safe, respectful transport and escorting throughout the community.
  • Make Mealtimes Meaningful: Assist residents to and from the dining area, serve meals, and provide feeding support when needed.
  • Promote Comfort & Confidence: Take pride in the personal hygiene and appearance of each resident, helping them feel their best.
  • Hydrate & Nourish: Ensure all residents are regularly offered drinks and snacks, supporting their overall health and well-being.
  • Deliver Essential Care: Provide tub baths, showers, or bed baths based on individual needs and preferences.
  • Monitor Vital Health Info: Accurately take and record vital signs and weights.
  • Communicate Proactively: Report any incidents, changes in condition, or care-related concerns to the Medication Technician or Charge Nurse promptly.
  • Support Families Too: Address concerns from residents or their families with care and escalate to the PC Administrator for follow-up.
  • Document with Accuracy: Record all care and observations in residents’ charts with attention to detail and timeliness.
  • Respond in Crisis: Act appropriately and calmly in emergency or disaster situations.
  • Protect Privacy: Maintain complete confidentiality of all resident care information in compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards.
  • Care with Intention: Recognize and respond to individual care needs by following each resident’s personalized support plan.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Age & Readiness: Must be at least 18 years old to meet state licensing requirements.
  • Educational Foundation: High school diploma or GED required to get started.
  • Safety First: Current First Aid and CPR certifications preferred, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
