Job Overview
Looking for part-time Personal Care Assistant, to work with 92y/o woman with Alzheimer's needing support with daily activities and health management. In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance, promote independence, and ensure safety and comfort for resident in her home in Easthampton. Your energy and empathy will help create a nurturing environment that fosters well-being and dignity.

At this time I am looking for hours on Friday morning-afternoon, some weekend hours, and possible evening hours (6:00-8:00).

Duties

• Assist resident with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Monitor residents’ health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes
• Support medication administration in accordance with care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area
• Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to enhance emotional well-being
• Provide housekeeping and laundry assistance

Experience

• Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly desirable
• Familiarity with patient observation, dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and enhances your ability to deliver specialized support
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred to respond effectively during emergencies
• Previous roles involving patient monitoring, medication administration, or long-term care contribute to a strong foundation for success in this position

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 18 per week
