Personal Care Assistant

THIS IS A LIVE-IN POSITION. Sunday at 7am until Wednesday at 7am.

We are looking for a competent caring personal care assistant for live in position to support a physically challenged FEMALE young adult in her daily living activities, cleaning and cooking and driving her van . You must have a clean valid driver’s license. The fulfillment and satisfaction that comes with helping others surpasses the challenges of this job. If you’re a compassionate, positive person who is reliable, then this is a job for you. We expect you to be polite and a good communicator. Experience in housekeeping tasks and caring for a young adult will make you a strong candidate.

Responsibilities

• Support clients who can’t move on their own
• Help client dress, bathe, toilet.
• Assist clients with physical therapy exercises
• Cook meals according to the client restrictions
• Help client with their shopping
• Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
• Provide emotional support
• Inform physicians or supervisors about uncommon events
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

• CPR certified
• High school diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $2,100.00 per week
