Personal Care Assistant Responsibilities
The following duties may or may not be required for a client, as each is different, however all duties listed fall under the job description of a non-medical caregiver.

• Personal care- bathing, shampoo hair, comb/brush hair, mouth care, electric shaving, nail filing, perineal care, and dressing assistance
• Nutrition- prepare meals, record food and liquid intake, assist with eating, and encourage food or liquids
• Elimination- assist in bathroom, record urine and bowel functions, and ostomy care
• Misc.- assist with medication reminders, wash and change bed linens, shopping and errands, light housekeeping, and transportation
