Duties

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Monitor residents’ health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes to healthcare professionals
• Support medication administration in accordance with care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety and confidentiality
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed
• Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to safely transfer residents with mobility challenges
• Maintain cleanliness of residents’ personal spaces and common areas through regular cleaning and sanitation practices
• Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and facility policies

Experience

• Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments preferred
• Hands-on experience with patient observation, monitoring vital signs, and implementing care plans
• Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is highly desirable
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training or group home experience are advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper body mechanics
• Familiarity with medication administration procedures and resident safety protocols
• Experience working within long-term care settings or providing direct support in home health environments enhances your candidacy

Pay: $14.50 - $17.00 per hour
