Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team in Rochester Hills, MI. In this role, you will provide essential personal care services to clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Your support will make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of those in need.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Help with mobility and transfers as needed
• Monitor client condition and report any changes to healthcare professionals
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by supervisors or healthcare providers

Requirements

• Previous experience in a personal care or caregiving role is a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and team members
• Reliable, trustworthy, and respectful of client privacy and confidentiality
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting or assisting clients with mobility
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus
