Personal Care Assistant and Companion

We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support and companionship. This role focuses on enhancing the client's quality of life through direct care, household management, and behavioral support.

Key Responsibilities

-Personal Care: Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.

-Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage in meaningful social interaction.

-Medicine Disbursement: Manage and administer medications accurately according to prescribed schedule.

-Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe environment through laundry, meal preparation, and general tidying.

-Behavior Modification: Implement strategies to encourage positive behaviors and manage challenging situations effectively.

Qualifications

-Proven experience in caregiving or a related field.

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

-Ability to follow complex medical and behavioral care plans.

-Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor

-Must pass a Level 2 background check.

Schedule is part-time 16 hours per week at $18 per hour.

Week 1: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Thursday and 1:30 pm to 9:30 pm Friday

Week 2: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Friday and 1:30 pm to 9:30 pm Saturday.

Week 3: same as week 1.

Week 4: same as week 2.
