Personal Care Attendant

About the Role

As a caregiver, you will provide personalized, hands-on care and companionship to clients in their homes. Our caregivers play an essential role in maintaining comfort, dignity, and independence for those we serve

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
• Monitor and report changes in clients physical or emotional condition.
• Support medication reminders (as directed).
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
• Safely transfer clients from bed to chair and back

Requirements

• Prior caregiving experience preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Genuine compassion, patience, and a caring attitude.
• Ability to follow care plans and work independently.
• Reliable and punctual with good communication skills.
• Must be able to pass a background check and provide references.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or over
• CPR card preferred but will train
