Personal Care Attendant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in Inkster, MI. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others maintain their independence and quality of life in a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Help with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
• Monitor and report any changes in the client’s health or behavior to the office
• Ensure clients’ safety and well-being at all times
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or a related field preferred but not required
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable attitude
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are a plus
• Ability to pass background checks
