Personal Care Attendant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendants to join our team in Northville, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. The ideal candidate will be attentive, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality care that meets the unique needs of each individual.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client’s well-being
• Ensure a safe and clean environment by performing light housekeeping tasks
• Follow care plans and communicate any changes or concerns to supervisors
• Provide transportation assistance or accompany clients to appointments when necessary

Requirements

• Previous personal care or care-giving experience is a plus but not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient demeanor
• Ability to pass background checks and valid ids
• Ability to work flexible hours as assigned
