Personal Care Attendant (PCA) Lancaster

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) to provide in-home support to individuals who need assistance with daily living activities. We service all of Lancaster County, to include, but not limited to: Lancaster, Manheim, Lititz, Quarryville, Willow Street, Ephrata, Mt. Joy, and Elizabethtown.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy helping others and making a meaningful difference in their community.

Responsibilities

• Assist consumers with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and positioning when needed
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
• Perform light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, and tidying living spaces
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments when required
• Support consumers in participating in community activities and social engagement
• Follow each consumer’s individual service plan and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor
• Accurately document hours and services provided

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to travel to multiple consumer locations during designated shift.
• Ability to pass background checks and complete required training
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous caregiving or home care experience needed
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient personality
• Ability to work independently in different home environments
