Personal Care Scheduling Coordinator

Providence is currently looking for a highly-motivated individual with excellent communication and organization skills to take on the role of our Personal Care Scheduling Coordinator.

The Personal Care Scheduler will assist the Personal Care Services team in continually serving more clients by nurturing and serving our team of caregivers, ensuring they are highly trained, qualified and credentialed for the services that we provide. It is our goal to exceed the expectations of those we serve.

Responsibilities and desired skills include:

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

• Assign field staff to clients with an emphasis on creating quality matches
• Manage scheduling to reduce and minimize overtime
• Daily and weekly review of all schedules to minimize scheduling errors
• Communication of all shift changes to clients and care staff
• Document all staffing issues, call-offs and schedule changes in scheduling software
• Secure potential back up assistance in anticipation of scheduling/on call issues.
• Take responsibility for all staffing issues and demonstrating an attitude of problem resolution.
• Track, prioritize and multitask while working in fast paced environment
• Demonstrate an attitude of patience, compassion and ambition
• Assist with any office/clerical duties as needed
• Keep work calls, extended breaks and call-offs to a minimum
• Participate in monthly on-call rotation, calling nursing on-call if a health emergency arises with a client.
• First point of contact for all field staff
• Build trusting relationships with field staff with a focus on professionalism
• Leading care staff through exemplifying SERVE values, encouraging care staff to adopt our core values.
• Maintain poise, compassion and respect in all dealings with clients and caregivers
• Strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines, focusing on keeping proprietary information, client/family information and caregiver information confidential.
• Practice active listening to allow clients and caregivers to feel heard when difficult situations arise.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
