Personal & Home Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Personal Assistant/House Manager to support a young professional couple with their daily household management. This role is ideal for someone who is flexible, resourceful, and eager to provide exceptional support across a variety of tasks—from administrative work to personal errands.

Key Responsibilities

Household Errands & Personal Assistance

  • Grocery and household supply shopping (weekly)
  • Purchase groceries, toiletries, office supplies, and household essentials
  • Pick up and drop off dry cleaning
  • Handle shipping returns, mail, and post office errands
  • Organize and restock supplements and daily wellness items
  • Gift wrapping and miscellaneous personal assistance
  • Basic meal preparation and kitchen support

Household Cleaning & Organization

  • Vacuum and maintain cleanliness throughout house and gym
  • Wipe down countertops and surfaces
  • Empty and reload dishwasher
  • Take out trash and recycling
  • Retrieve trash and recycling bins from street (Tuesdays)
  • Tidy living spaces, bedrooms, furniture, and common areas
  • Restock household supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.)
  • Clean and maintain fireplace area
  • Water indoor plants

Laundry Care

Wash, dry, fold, and organize:

  • Dark clothing
  • Light clothing
  • Jeans and specialty items
  • Bed linens and pillowcases
  • Towels and bath mats

Pet Care (1 Dog)

  • Dog walking and general care
  • Pet waste removal
  • Refill food and water supplies
  • Bathing and grooming support

Winery & Administrative Support (Hill of Tara Winery)

  • Pack and prepare wine shipments for pickup
  • Coordinate local wine deliveries in Sonoma
  • Assist with miscellaneous administrative and operational tasks

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a process-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proactive problem-solving and ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
  • Positive, can-do attitude and ability to work independently.
  • Prior experience as a Personal Assistant, House Manager, or in hospitality a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
