We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Personal Injury Associate to join our thriving legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to represent clients who have suffered injuries due to accidents or negligence, providing expert legal counsel and advocating for their rights. As a key member of our law office, you will handle complex personal injury cases from inception through resolution, ensuring clients receive the justice they deserve while contributing to the firm’s reputation for excellence.
Duties
- Manage a caseload of personal injury claims, including motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-falls, and workplace injuries
- Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case strategies
- Draft pleadings, discovery documents, settlement agreements, and trial briefs with precision and clarity
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel to maximize client benefits
- Interview clients, witnesses, and experts to gather essential evidence and build strong cases
- Prepare for trial by organizing evidence, developing case theories, and coordinating with litigation team members
- Maintain detailed case files and ensure compliance with all legal administrative requirements
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar
- Proven experience in personal injury law or related litigation fields such as estate planning, family law, or workers' compensation law is highly desirable
- Strong research skills utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research platforms
- Excellent legal drafting and writing skills with attention to detail
- Demonstrated negotiation abilities to achieve favorable client outcomes
- Familiarity with law office procedures and legal administrative experience
- Knowledge of additional practice areas such as environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, or estate planning is a plus

Pay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
