Job Overview
We are seeking a 3-5 year dynamic and dedicated Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join our legal team. In this role, you will play a vital part in representing clients who have suffered injuries and helping secure winning outcomes for them. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on every aspect of personal injury cases from start to finish, develop your negotiation and litigation skills, and make a meaningful difference in clients’ lives. Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of personal injury claims from inception through resolution, including negotiations and litigation.
  • Conduct legal research using Westlaw and other legal research tools to support case strategies.
  • Prepare and review demand packages.
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, and correspondence.
  • Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, and attend trials.
  • Investigate claims by gathering evidence, interviewing clients and witnesses, and consulting with experts when necessary.
  • Negotiate settlements in both litigation and pre-litigation.
  • Communicate with clients.
  • Ensure cases are thoroughly developed from intake through trial and/or resolution in alignment with firm standards and client interests.

Qualifications

  • Active Texas Bar license.
  • Proven experience or strong interest in personal injury law.
  • Litigation experience, including written discovery, taking and defending depositions, and arguing motions in court.
  • Trial experience a plus but not required.
  • Excellent research skills using Westlaw and other legal research platforms.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear, persuasive legal documents.
  • Effective negotiation skills to achieve favorable settlements for clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Superb organizational and time management skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
