Personal Injury Associate Attorney

Pay: $80,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year

We are a plaintiff’s personal injury practice looking for an associate attorney that is licensed in the State of Texas. Our home office is in Clear Lake, but we have expanded our business and have opened an office location in Houston off Richmond Avenue.

We manage different types of personal injury cases ranging from commercial / non-commercial car accidents, trucking accidents, premises injuries, work injuries, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Attorney at John K. Zaid, you will be responsible for advising on any / every aspect of a personal injury case. We expect Attorney’s to be diligent in their training process to be successful in assisting clients and staff with well thought out answers and evaluations related to a case. Attorneys will be responsible for handling their own dockets with major assistance from staff, so they are not stuck doing busy work but rather practicing law.

Requirements:

• Should be familiar with personal injury cases; from inception to close out.
• Be prepared to handle cases with minimal supervision
• Must be a self-starter who possesses strong analytical, negotiation, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
• Be ready to communicate directly with clients and counsel on relevant legal matters
• Experience evaluating whether to sign a case or not
• Will be working closely with other attorneys and litigation team members and needs to be comfortable handling multiple priorities and tight deadlines, so staying highly organized is a must.
• Bilingual is not required, but a plus.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm

Pay commensurate with experience.

• Attorney Referral Bonus - 50% fee split of any cases brought in by attorney
