Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our reputable law firm. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in personal injury law and have comprehensive knowledge of various legal areas including litigation, legal research, and drafting. This role involves representing clients in personal injury cases, providing expert legal counsel, and managing case files efficiently. The attorney will also collaborate with other legal professionals to ensure the best outcomes for clients while maintaining the highest standards of ethical practice.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of personal injury claims from inception through resolution, including negotiations and litigation as needed.
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies.
- Draft legal documents, pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity.
- Advise clients on their rights and options related to personal injury claims, ensuring clear communication throughout the process.
- Develop case strategies by analyzing evidence, interviewing witnesses, and consulting with experts in relevant fields.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Stay current on developments in personal injury law and related legal areas such as estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, landlord-tenant law, and others as applicable.
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with all legal administrative requirements.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; admission to the California state bar is required.
- Proven experience practicing personal injury law with a strong understanding of litigation processes.
- Two years experience in personal injury matters.
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents.
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively advocate for clients during settlements or trial proceedings.
- Knowledge of additional legal areas including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, landlord-tenant law is desirable.
- Legal administrative experience is preferred for efficient case management.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
