We seek a skilled Personal Injury Attorney with a minimum of 2 years experience to independently handle serious injury cases. The attorney will be responsible for handling discovery and assist during mediations and at trial.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in personal injury cases, providing expert legal advice and guidance.
• Conduct thorough investigations of cases, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Manage case files and maintain accurate records of all communications and proceedings.
• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting personal injury cases.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals to enhance case strategies.
• Provide exceptional client service throughout the legal process.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and have a minimum of 2 years handling plaintiff's personal injury cases.
• Active license to practice law in the state of New York.
• Proven experience in plaintiff's personal injury law.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful settlements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
• Ability to manage multiple cases effectively under tight deadlines.
• Commitment to client advocacy and ethical practice.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
