Personal Injury Attorney – Litigation and Negotiations

Anthem Injury Lawyers is seeking an experienced Attorney (5+ years’ experience) to handle elevated pre-litigation negotiations and carry cases through litigation and arbitration when necessary.

You will step into cases that require advanced negotiation, initiate suit when strategically beneficial, manage discovery, and handle arbitrations to resolution.

Core Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for files that have stalled at the pre-litigation level.
• Help develop and execute structured negotiation strategy.
• Position cases for bad-faith exposure where appropriate.
• Enforce carrier response deadlines and maintain negotiation momentum.
• Draft and file complaints.
• Develop early case strategy to increase settlement leverage.
• Handle responsive pleadings, motions, and procedural strategy.
• Draft and respond to written discovery.
• Take and defend depositions (plaintiffs, defendants, key witnesses, experts).
• Prepare and argue discovery motions when necessary.
• Evaluate expert needs and case valuation throughout litigation.
• Prepare arbitration briefs and conduct arbitrations within Nevada’s court-annexed arbitration program.
• Participate in mediations and negotiate resolution at all litigation stages.
• Prepare minor compromise petitions when required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Nevada attorney in good standing.
• 5+ years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Experience independently handling written discovery.
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
• Experience handling court annexed arbitrations.
• Demonstrated negotiation skill and case valuation ability.
• Ability to manage 30–60 active litigation files efficiently, with assistance of a paralegal.
• Close attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and deadline discipline.
