Personal Injury Case Manager

Join our dynamic legal team as a Personal Injury Case Manager, where your expertise will drive the success of client claims and ensure seamless case progression. You will coordinate all aspects of personal injury cases, from initial client intake through resolution, providing vital support to attorneys and clients alike. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help streamline processes, manage complex documentation, and uphold the highest standards of legal service.

Duties

  • Manage the full lifecycle of personal injury cases, including client onboarding, document collection, and case file organization using legal case management systems such as Casepeer and iManage.
  • Conduct thorough legal research across personal injury law and related areas like Personal Injury Law to support case strategies.
  • Review and draft legal documents, correspondence, reports, and pleadings with precision, ensuring accuracy through diligent proofreading and editing.
  • Interview clients, witnesses, medical providers, and other stakeholders to gather essential case information and build comprehensive case files.
  • Coordinate with medical providers, insurance companies, and external experts to facilitate timely communication and case development.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all case activities, data entry in document management systems, and filing to ensure compliance with legal standards.
  • Support attorneys with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, preparing litigation materials for court proceedings, and providing executive administrative support when needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven paralegal experience or legal administrative experience within a law office environment specializing in personal injury law or related fields such as Workers' Compensation Law or Litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of legal research tools including Westlaw and LexisNexis; familiarity with UCC Law, Tort Law & Regulations is a plus.
  • Proficiency in legal case management software like Casepeer; document management systems such as iManage; data entry; and file organization skills.
  • Excellent interviewing skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong writing skills for drafting reports, correspondence, contracts, and legal documents; keen proofreading abilities are essential.
  • Familiarity with electronic discovery tools like Westlaw for legal research; experience in document review and litigation support is highly desirable.
  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
  • Effective phone etiquette combined with excellent clerical skills including filing, transcription, and administrative support tasks. Join us in delivering outstanding legal service by managing complex personal injury cases with enthusiasm and precision!

Pay: $41,600.00 - $52,000.00 per year
