Plaintiff - Personal Injury Case Manager - Bergen County
Davis, Saperstein & Salomon, P.C., a prominent plaintiff’s law firm based in Teaneck, NJ, is seeking an experienced Personal Injury (Plaintiff) Litigation Paralegal /Case Manager to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate must possess 3-10 years of litigation experience. Previous litigation and personal injury experience are required. Medical malpractice experience is a plus. Candidates without the required experience will not be considered.

Compensation:
$70,000 - $80,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Including, but not limited to:

Handle all aspects of personal injury files from filing the complaint until the conclusion of the case;

Maintain frequent and compassionate communication with clients regarding case status, treatment progress, and legal steps;

Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery responses, and settlement demands;

Coordinate with medical providers to obtain and summarize records and bills;
-
Prepare cases for arbitration, mediation, and trial as necessary;
-
Track deadlines and manage attorney calendars to ensure timely filings and appearances.
Qualifications:-
Self-starter who can work with little supervision, be extremely organized, and very detail-oriented;

Minimum 3 years of experience in plaintiff's personal injury law (required);

Strong understanding of New Jersey tort law, court procedures, and e-filing systems;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Proficient in legal case management software;

Ability to multitask, work independently, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment;

Treat others with respect and contribute to a positive team environment;

Knowledge of Trial Pad and/or TrialWorks is a plus;

Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word and PDF conversion software. Experience with Excel and PowerPoint is necessary;

Knowledge of Local and State discovery rules;

Organization skills and attention to detail.
