Personal Injury Claims Case Manager (*No recruiters or third-party agencies, please.)

A personal injury law firm is seeking a personal injury claims assistant that will provide a range of legal support. The position requires an individual who enjoys interacting with clients, while delivering exceptional customer service.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assisting with setting up and processing claims in accordance with Firm policies and procedures.
- Assist with responding to and performing detailed intakes with potential clients.
- Drafting and sending welcome letters and letters of representation; requesting and obtaining police reports, medical records and bills and following up accordingly, and setting up subrogation and obtaining subrogation liens.
- Helping clients with property damage claims.
- Regularly communicate with clients undergoing treatment regarding progress and to ensure they are getting the necessary medical treatment needed.
- Preparing the file for demand and sending demand packages.
- Requesting and obtaining balance verifications.
- Sending and obtaining reduction requests.
- Working with insurance companies and the attorneys to settle claims.
- Answering provider and adjuster calls as needed.
- Frequently communicating with clients, providing status updates throughout their case, managing client issues, and resolving them as quickly as possible.
- Accurately documenting relevant activity and transferring data and records into the case management software (CMS).
- Completing all assigned tasks by relevant deadlines, ensuring CMS feed and tasks are updated, and emails responded to daily.
- Work independently and with the claims team and attorneys with other duties and tasks as assigned..
Requirements/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of experience in the legal field as a case manager.
- Have a thorough understanding of the claims process.
- Must be self-sufficient with the skill to manage multiple cases and assignments.
- Ability to manage conflicting time demands and focus on task completion with little direction or need for supervisory follow-up.
- Able to work with databases and online platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to be detail-oriented, diligent, and flexible.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, i.e., Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Must possess a prominent level of professionalism, and commitment to maintaining integrity and confidentiality on behalf of clients and the firm.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in business or related field.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Authorized Nevada Notary.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Salary Range: $25 - $28, depends on experience (DOE)
