Personal Injury Intake Specialist

Join our dynamic legal team as a Personal Injury Intake Specialist, where your energetic approach and meticulous attention to detail will be pivotal in managing initial client contacts and case intake processes. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for potential clients, gathering essential information, assessing case viability, and ensuring a smooth transition into the legal process. Your proactive communication skills and organizational prowess will help us deliver exceptional client service while supporting our attorneys with accurate case documentation and research.

<Responsibilities>

  • Conduct thorough interviews with prospective clients to gather detailed information about their personal injury claims, ensuring clarity and completeness.
  • Assess initial case details to determine eligibility and prioritize cases based on urgency and potential value.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills.
  • Utilize legal case management software such as FileVine and document management systems to record client data accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with attorneys and paralegals to facilitate seamless case onboarding, including document review, data entry, and file organization.
  • Perform legal research to support case evaluations and understand relevant personal injury laws.
  • Assist in preparing initial legal documents, proofreading for accuracy, and maintaining meticulous records of all client interactions and case updates.

<Experience>

  • Prior experience as a paralegal or legal administrative assistant within a law office environment is highly preferred.
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with personal injury law and related legal research tools.
  • Strong interviewing skills with the ability to extract detailed information while maintaining empathy and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in legal case management systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
  • Experience handling administrative tasks such as document review, proofreading, transcription, filing, data entry, and document management systems.
  • Knowledge of clerical procedures including phone etiquette, filing protocols, and general office support functions. Pay: $24.91 - $30.00 per hour
