Personal Injury Litigation Assistant (Training Provided)

We are a busy, well-established plaintiff-side personal injury and workers’ compensation law firm in Jersey City seeking an energetic, organized, and motivated Litigation Assistant to join our team.

Prior personal injury experience a plus but not required. We will train the right person.

This role is for someone who:

What you’ll do:

• Support attorneys in personal injury litigation matters
• Draft, file, and organize court documents (paper + digital)
• Manage discovery and case files
• Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
• Learn the full lifecycle of a plaintiff PI litigation case

What we’re looking for:

• Strong basic computer skills (Word, Outlook, PDF handling; case management systems a plus)
• Professional, personable communication skills - in person and on the phone
• Ability to stay organized and calm in a fast-paced environment
• Spanish language skills a plus, but not required

Ideal background:

• Legal assistant, paralegal, or strong administrative experience helpful but not mandatory
• College coursework or certificate helpful but not required
• Interest in plaintiff-side litigation strongly preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $27.00 per hour
