<Job Overview>
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. We are an active firm with over 100 cases in litigation. This role will be in our litigation department focusing solely on litigation cases. . <Duties>
- Manage a caseload of personal injury claims, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, medical malpractice, and other injury-related cases.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis to support case strategies and stay current on relevant laws and regulations.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and correspondence with clients and opposing counsel.
- Negotiate settlements effectively with insurance companies and other parties to maximize client benefits.
- Represent clients at depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial proceedings with confidence and professionalism.
- Collaborate with experts in fields such as medical professionals or accident reconstruction specialists to strengthen case evidence.
- Maintain meticulous case records, monitor case progress, and ensure compliance with all legal procedures and deadlines.
<Qualifications>
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience in personal injury law or related litigation fields to include defense work.
- Strong research skills utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, or similar legal research platforms.
- Excellent legal drafting skills with attention to detail for pleadings, motions, and settlement documents.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills capable of securing favorable outcomes for clients.
- Familiarity with a broad range of legal areas including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and others is a plus but not required.
- Legal administrative experience that ensures efficient case management and documentation.
- Exceptional writing skills combined with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and persuasively. Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
