Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will provide essential support in managing personal injury cases from the complaint drafting stage through discovery. Your expertise will help streamline case workflows, ensure accurate documentation, and facilitate effective communication between clients, attorneys, and external parties. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful litigation efforts while honing your legal skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining rapport with clients to deliver high quality client service.
  • Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting pleadings, discovery requests, and settlement documents.
  • Manage case files and document review processes utilizing document management systems such as Filevine.
  • Coordinate depositions, client interviews, and court appearances by scheduling and preparing necessary materials.
  • Maintain accurate data entry and filing of legal documents in compliance with court rules and firm policies.
  • Support litigation workflows by tracking deadlines, preparing exhibits, and organizing evidence for court proceedings.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, and other stakeholders via phone etiquette and professional correspondence.

Skills

  • Proven paralegal experience with a focus on plaintiff-sided personal injury law.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in legal case management software (Filevine preferred).
  • Experience with CT's E-Services system (federal PACER experience is a plus).
  • Exceptional writing skills for drafting legal documents, reports, and correspondence.
  • Attention to detail for proofreading, transcription, and document review tasks.
  • Familiarity with electronic discovery processes and data entry procedures.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
