Personal Injury Paralegal

Boutique personal injury firm seeks Personal Injury Paralegal to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting personal injury litigation cases from inception through resolution. Your expertise will help ensure efficient case management, and precise document preparation, all while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and client service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills directly contribute to advocating for clients and achieving favorable outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorney with all phases of personal injury cases, including case intake, investigation, and settlement negotiations
  • Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and correspondence with clients and opposing counsel
  • Manage case files using document management systems like Cloudlex, and ensure all records are accurate, organized, and up-to-date
  • Interview clients, witnesses, and experts to gather pertinent information for case development
  • Review medical records, accident reports, and other relevant documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Coordinate with insurance companies, medical providers, and other parties involved in the litigation process
  • Maintain detailed case logs, calendar deadlines, and ensure timely filing of documents in compliance with court rules
  • Provide administrative support including data entry, filing, proofreading, transcription, and phone etiquette to facilitate smooth office operations

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years personal injury secretary/ paralegal experience
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Effective communication skills with professional phone etiquette for client interactions and internal collaboration
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced law office environment
  • Attention to detail in proofreading legal documents and maintaining accurate case records

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
