<Duties>
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of personal injury litigation, including case investigation, document review, and discovery management
- Conduct client interviews to gather detailed case information and facilitate effective communication
- Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity
- Manage legal case management systems and document management platforms like iManage and PCLaw to ensure organized case files
- Perform legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other resources to support case strategy and legal arguments
- Review medical records, accident reports, and other evidence to build strong cases for clients
- Coordinate with medical providers, insurance companies, and expert witnesses to gather necessary documentation and testimony
- Proofread and transcribe legal documents to maintain accuracy and professionalism in all filings
- Support administrative functions including data entry, filing, scheduling appointments, and maintaining client records with excellent organizational skills
- Maintain phone etiquette while handling inquiries from clients, courts, and other stakeholders efficiently
<Qualifications>
- Paralegal experience in personal injury law or related fields such as workers' compensation or litigation is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of legal administrative processes, document review, and case management systems like iManage and PCLaw
- Proficiency in legal research tools including Westlaw and LexisNexis for comprehensive case analysis
- Excellent writing skills for drafting pleadings, correspondence, and legal summaries
- Demonstrated ability to perform detailed legal research and compile thorough reports
- Experience with document management systems and data entry for efficient case organization
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Effective interviewing skills to gather pertinent client information accurately
- Knowledge of relevant laws such as personal injury law, UCC law (Uniform Commercial Code), family law, landlord-tenant law, tribal law & regulations, securities law, patent law, environmental law, estate planning, immigration law, land use law, litigation procedures & rules
- Strong clerical experience including filing, proofreading, transcription services, and administrative support functions
- Excellent phone etiquette combined with professional communication skills
