Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bilingual Personal Injury Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of personal injury litigation, including case intake, investigation, and documentation.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies.
- Prepare and review legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and correspondence with clients and opposing counsel.
- Manage case files using document management systems.
- Interview clients and witnesses to gather relevant information for case development.
- Maintain organized case calendars, deadlines, and court filings to ensure timely progression of cases.
- Provide administrative support including data entry, filing, proofreading, transcription, and phone etiquette to facilitate smooth office operations.
- Collaborate with team members on project management tasks related to litigation and client service initiatives.
- Support translation needs for bilingual clients to ensure clear understanding of legal procedures and documentation.
Requirements
- Proven paralegal experience with a focus on personal injury law or related fields.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required for effective communication with diverse clients.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in interviewing clients and witnesses with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Knowledge of legal drafting, proofreading, transcription, contracts, and document review processes.
- Ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills along with professional phone etiquette.
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
